I am a member of the New Zealand Women's Canoe Polo team, also known as the Paddle Ferns. We are off to Italy in August to compete at the Canoe Polo World Championships. Our team is aiming for Gold!

The Paddle Ferns are one of the top women's Canoe Polo teams in the World. We were silver medallists at the 2006 World Championships and have been semi-finalists at every World Champs and World Games since then.

This years World Championships tour will cost each player in excess of $12,000 and as Canoe Polo is not an Olympic sport it does not attract any of the funding associated with elite level sport in New Zealand. So I'm on a major fundraising mission and I NEED YOUR HELP.
